Farmhouse Finishes (formerly Safepaint for Walls) is a milk paint designed for use on walls and interiors, or any pre-painted surface. Whilst our original formula was created for porous surfaces like wood and masonry, Farmhouse Finishes is formulated for use on non-porous surfaces such as previously painted walls, metal, or prior finished wood, cabinetry, furniture, etc, without the addition of Extra Bond. Farmhouse Finishes still has the flat finish, but is much more uniform and consistent over a large area than the original formula. It is also washable once cured. Like original milk paint, it is made from elements that pre-date the use of petrochemicals and other toxic bases and solvents, it is biodegradable, non-toxic, and odor-free when dry.
